Sue Parkinson

Sue was brought up at Welsh Newton Common, and settled back there in 1992 with her partner in a self built home where she brought up her own daughter.  She was actively involved in preparing the Neighbourhood Development Plan, contributing especially to the conservation and landscape sections.  Sue has a keen interest in local wildlife conservation and monitoring.  She works for Monmouthshire County Council in the Grounds and Cleansing department.  She joined the Parish Council in 2023.
